Top 15 ways to be attractive.....
Monday, July 14, 2008* 9 Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)
1. love: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
2. joy: Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.)
3. peace: John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
4. patience: Isaiah 64:4 Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.
5. kindness: Ephesians 2:6-8 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.
6. goodness: Galatians 5:8-10 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.
7. faithfulness: Proverbs 3:3-4 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
8. gentleness: Ephesians 4:1-2 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Philippians 4:4-6 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
9. self-control: 2 Peter 1:5-9 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
* 6 other characteristics
1. confidence: Hebrews 14:15-16 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
2. purpose: 1 Corinthians 9:24-28 Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.
3. modesty: 1 Peter 3:3-4 Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
4. mystery: Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
5. wisdom: James 3:17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
6. humility: Philippians 3:2-4 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
Ready. Set. Attract…(The right guy at the right time)
Right now, it’s Jesus!

Be Inviting, Be Captivating, Be BEAUTIFUL
Sunday, June 22, 2008Girls of God - June 12, 2008
Be inviting. Be captivating. Be beautiful.
I. Be Inviting
a.100% attention
i.Honest, sincere, listening, undivided, undistracted, caring
ii. Be yourself & let others be themselves
iii. Truly caring and accepting others shows people God
iv. Ephesians 5:1-2 Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ.
v. 1 John 4:11-12 Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
II. Be Captivating
a. Be kind, gentle, loving and even if people are not loving in return
i. Galatians 5:22-23 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
b. Purse others like God pursues us (ex: people in your family, girls, new girls especially the quiet ones, BUT not boys!)
i. Jeremiah 31:3 I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.

iii. Isaiah 46:3 I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime- until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.
b. Have substance. Depth of soul. Not me. But Christ. Christ makes you whole.
i. Be confident in who you are. Not arrogant. You’re secure because God offers you security.
1. Isaiah 30:15 Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength.
2. 1 Peter 3:3-4 Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.
IV. Now what are your action steps…
a. 1 John 3:18 Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.

K-Love A New Link Look to the right. ---->
Wednesday, May 28, 2008A good reminder to the girls about what we talked about from the beginning.
STEP 1: God’s Purpose: Peace and LifeGod loves you and wants you to experience peace and life--abundant and eternal. The Bible says: “...we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”( John 3:16) “...I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
STEP 2: Our Problem: SeparationGod created us in His image to have abundant life. He did not make us robots to automatically love and obey Him, but gave us a will and freedom of choice. We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. The result is separation from God. The Bible says: ”For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) “But your iniquities have separated you from God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.” (Isaiah 59:2) We have rebelled against God. We have all disobeyed Him, and our sins have separated us from Him and broken off the relationship.
Our Attempts: To varying degrees, most of us are aware of our distance from God, so we start doing all kinds of things like being a helpful neighbor, paying our taxes, going to church, or giving money to charities--all in order to get back to Him. There is nothing wrong with these things, but the Bible makes it clear that none of them can earn us God’s forgiveness or reestablish our relationship with Him. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) Furthermore, the sins we have committed must be punished. The penalty we owe is death, which is typically a physical death as well as a spiritual separation from God for eternity in a place called hell.
STEP 3: God’s Remedy: The Cross It looks pretty bleak, but the good news is that we matter to God. In fact, He loves us so much that He did for us what we could never do for ourselves. He provided a bridge over which we can find His forgiveness and restore our relationship with Him. Jesus Christ is the only answer to this problem. He died on the cross, rose from the grave, paying the penalty for our sin and bridging the gap between God and man. The Bible says: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus.” (I Timothy 2:5) “For Christ also has suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.”(I Peter 3:18) “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this; while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) God loves us so much that He did for us what we could never do for ourselves. He provided a bridge over which we can find His forgiveness and restore our relationship with Him. And He did that by paying our death penalty when He died on the cross. Jesus built a bridge to God by coming to earth as one of us and dying on the cross to pay the death penalty we owed.
STEP 4: Our Response: Receive Christ But it is not enough for us to just know about this, or even agree with it. We have to act on it. God wants us to cross the line of faith and become His children. We do this by humbly admitting to God that we have rebelled against Him, and that we need his forgiveness and leadership. With our sins pardoned and our debt paid, our relationship with God is firmly established because we are immediately adopted into His family as His son or daughter. The Bible says: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even those who believe in His name.” (John 1:12) “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
Here’s how you can receive Christ right now by faith:Admit your need (“I am a sinner”). Be willing to turn from your sins (repent). Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross, and rose from the grave. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit Here is a sample prayer: “Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I need your forgiveness. I believe that you died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins and follow you. I now invite you into my heart and life. I want to trust you as Savior, and follow your leadership. Thank you for forgiving me and adopting me into the family of God.” You can copy or print this prayer, date it, sign it, and keep it.
God’s Assurance: His Word If you prayed this prayer... The Bible says: “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13) “I assure you, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent Me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.” (John 5:24) Did you sincerely ask Jesus Christ to come into your life? Where is He right now? What has He given you? “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.” (I John 5:12-13) Receiving Christ, we were born into God’s family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer. This is called regeneration, being born again, or the new birth. “For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.” (Romans 5:5) If you would like more information or someone to pray with you please call 1-800-525-5683 or email
This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ! To grow in this relationship with God, you should:Read your Bible every day to get to know Christ better. Begin with the Gospel of John. Talk to God in prayer every day. Tell others about your decision to follow Christ. Worship and serve God with other believers in a Bible-believing, Christ-honoring local church. Demonstrate your new life in Christ by your love and concern for others. STEP 1: God’s Purpose: Peace and LifeGod loves you and wants you to experience peace and life--abundant and eternal. Videos of inspiration from the past...
This is the Self-Esteem Video that The Dove Campaign came out with on the Evolution of a Supermodel! Don't be fooled by the tricks of the beauty industry.
Listen Carefully to the words in this song....
Bethany Dillon " Beautiful"
I was so unique
Now I feel skin deep
I count on the make-up to cover it all
Crying myself to sleep cause I cannot keep their attention
I thought I could be strong
But it's killing me
Does someone hear my cry?
I'm dying for new life
[Chorus]
I want to be beautiful
Make you stand in awe
Look inside my heart,
and be amazed
I want to hear you say
Who I am is quite enough
Just want to be worthy of love
And beautiful
Sometimes I wish I was someone other than me
Fighting to make the mirror happy
Trying to find whatever is missing
Won't you help me back to glory
[Chorus]
You make me beautiful
You make me stand in awe
You step inside my heart, and I am amazed
I love to hear You say
Who I am is quite enough
You make me worthy of love and beautiful
